Play Cloths the clothing brand by rap duo The Clipse has teamed up with Gshock to produce this collaborated DW-6900. It’s a red DW-6900 with a negative LCD and racing stripes down the middle of the band. It’s due to be released in March. Since its a collaborative piece it will probably be limited and on the higher end of Gshock watches as far as price is concerned.

G Shock teamed up with Japanese Brand Glam B to produce two watches the DW-6900 and one DW-5600 which are based off G-Shocks feature a splattered paint motif.

The Crazy About Surfing limited edition G-Shock is one of 1,000 to be released in this collaboration. This model features glossy black band and bezel resin parts, along with a bright pink face. The LCD has mirrored digits with a pink background. The custom box and engraved caseback add some flare to this collectors item.

I’m not sure how you can get your hands on this beauty, but taking a trip to Japan would be your best bet. Who’s up for a trip to Japan??

For a $318 price tag I don’t see anything special about these watches. This collaboration between G Shock and 56designs a Japanese motorcycle brand founded by Shinya Nakano fails to please in my opinion. Other than “Live with Motorcycles” going across the side and a different logo placement this collaboration gets a thumbs down, unless I’m missing something here. Check out the photo below:
